The center selects exemplary teachers from across America and Europe, drawn from a variety of disciplines, to collaborate on projects that discover, develop, and communicate stories of Unsung Heroes in history.

Selected to be a part of a Fulbright Hays Group Project Abroad with a Curriculum Development Team to Sierra Leone, West Africa to gain knowledge, artifacts, documents, experience, and other data to be used in the development, implementation, and systemic dissemination of curricula for use in (a) K-12 classrooms and in (b) pre-service teacher education.
